Executive Chef — New Restaurant Opening - The Current & Stillroom

Location: South Boston, MA

Footprint: ~6,500 sq ft + patio (brand-new buildout)

Type: Full-time

Compensation: Six-figure salary + strong incentives + vested ownership opportunity

the craft behind food and drink at the center of the experience. To consistently shine a spotlight

on the craftspeople—dairy farmers, chocolatiers, winemakers, knife makers, ranchers, and

more—who shape our industry and inspire our ambitions.

We’re looking for an Executive Chef who is not only an exceptional culinary leader but also

deeply curious about craft production and hungry for collaboration. You’ll take on the challenge

of designing constantly evolving menus, working closely with artisans, and leading a kitchen that

thrives on creativity, connection, and storytelling.

What You’ll Do

Lead a dynamic, evolving kitchen where new producers influence the menu every

month.

Develop special menus in collaboration with featured artisans, understanding their

process and crafting dishes that elevate their work.

Build a kitchen culture of respect, curiosity, and execution—balancing innovation with

seamless service.

Steward sustainability: source responsibly and make thoughtful decisions about

ingredients and operations.

Engage with the craft community through tastings, events, and storytelling opportunities.Compensation & Growth
