Job Description
Drai’s Supper Club is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our high-performing, fine dining kitchen in the heart of Chelsea, NYC.
We are a modern French-American supper club with a focus on beautifully plated, refined dishes — including elevated signatures like our caviar pasta — served in a luxurious, jazz-filled dining room.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who is confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about building systems, training staff, and maintaining consistency across 150+ covers per night.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and working on the line with a small, skilled team
Ensuring consistency and elegance across all dishes
Controlling food costs (target 30%) and minimizing waste
Managing inventory and ordering
Training staff and maintaining fine dining standards
Collaborating with FOH to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
The ideal candidate:
Has a minimum of 2 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume fine dining restaurant
Leads with calm, confidence, and clear communication
Has a strong eye for detail and plate presentation
Is hands-on, adaptable, and guest-focused
