Lead with creativity and passion as Executive Chef, overseeing all aspects of campus dining and shaping memorable culinary experiences for students, faculty, and guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and execute diverse, cost-efficient, and sustainable menus
- Lead and mentor a culinary team, fostering growth and collaboration
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and consistency
- Manage budgets, food costs, labor, and vendor relationships
- Enforce compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Stay current with culinary trends and integrate new ideas into dining services
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Culinary degree + professional certifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food safety
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to stand/walk long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Higher education or large-scale food service leadership background
- Budget management and vendor negotiation expertise
- Experience creating sustainable, innovative dining programs
