Experienced and/or Licensed Electrician at Cobalt Electric Corp

Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. We specialize in high end custom residential homes in the Vail area. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can read blueprints and schematics, ensuring all electrical installations meet the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing themselves and an apprentice in an efficient and professional manner, coordinating with project and site managers, meeting deadlines.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters for testing electrical systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards on all projects
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete renovation projects efficiently
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
• Provide maintenance person services as needed to support overall project completion

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on high end residential installations
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is strongly encouraged
• Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems
• Ability to work effectively in various construction settings while adhering to safety protocols
• Previous experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment is essential
• A solid understanding of renovation processes, new construction processes and construction site dynamics
