- Promote and upsell additional services and products when appropriate.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage for customer vehicles.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service protocols.
- Stay updated on automotive service trends, recalls, and technical bulletins.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area and waiting room.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive services preferred
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex automotive terms to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Proficiency with automotive service management software and computer systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
