We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance with national codes and standards. Candidates with NFPA and OSHA safety training and relevant certifications are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in industrial environments.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of electrical systems.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations.
- Diagnose and repair issues with motors, control panels, transformers, VFDs, PLCs, and other industrial equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to support production needs.
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, and training.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or trade school preferred).
- Minimum 35 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Experience with 480V, 277V, and low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, testing equipment, and electrical diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety Training (Certification)
- NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (Certification)
- Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) NFPA
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State-specific)
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- PLC Programming/Controls Training
