We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Estates Tax Accounting Professional which entails the following responsibilities: Review and prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), and related filings Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning, and consulting services for a variety of clients Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements for trust and estate entities Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and opportunities to clients and prospects, including in-person meetings Provide guidance and training to junior staff, and collaborate within integrated team to meet client and firm deadlines Stay current with changes in fiduciary, tax, and estate law, and participate in ongoing professional development Proactive approach to process improvement and regulatory changes Candidates should meet the following criteria: 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax CPA strongly preferred Self-motivated High ethical standards and integrity Client-focused mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities Work well in a team environment Excellent communication skills What's In It for You Flexible and friendly work environment Great benefits packages including, health, short-term disability insurance, life insurance and 401(k) plan Competitive Salary 3-week vacation plus 6 days PTO Following a six-month period, the work schedule will shift to a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days from home. We provide top quality accounting and auditing, tax, and consulting services to private companies in a variety of industries. This position will manage clients and staff and will work within a number of niches including Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift.
