Summary - This position is responsible for Caravan Facilities Management’s operating strategy and account development over a specific geographic area. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists in the development of, and maintains Standard Operating Plan to include all scope requirements, labor hours, operating costs, contract obligations, and professional image.
 - Assists in establishing quality control standards, enforces budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities and specifications to maximize efficiencies.
 - Provides guidance to the development of an operational process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
 - Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met; including Budget, Quality Audits, and Scope completion.
 - Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives. Routine job assignments, project work scheduling, etc.
 - Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
 - Communicates with customers of all levels; Corporate Staff, Plant Manager, Shift Supervisors, Union Leadership, and customer hourly staff. Communication will include discussion, verbal or electronic, involving all levels of organization regarding the satisfaction of provided services regarding a specific customer location or locations. Provide an opportunity for the customer to express specific issues, and look for new business opportunities.
 - Mentoring of Site Managers, Supervisors, Lead Janitors and Janitors in performing their required job functions.
 - Verify site completion of all required corporate processes. Including but limited to: payroll, auditing, KPI Metrics (key performance indicators), employee discipline, and safety talks/safety processes
 - Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
