Local food wholesale and distribution company is seeking dependable, detail oriented, and motivated Facilities Maintenance Person to join their team

Qualifications:

• Facility maintenance experience is required
• General skills for cleaning, painting, and landscaping required
• Light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical abilities
• Physical abilities such as lifting, climbing, kneeling and prolonged standing to handle tasks like moving equipment, working at heights, completing repairs and manual labor tasks
• Professional in appearance and communications
• High priority for quality customer service, thoroughness, reliability and safety
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license with clean MVR

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cuts grass, trims weeds, trees, and shrubs, and performs other general landscaping on organization's properties
• Performs repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks
• Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. washes windows, and outside of structures
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and equipment and unloading and storing supplies

Schedule / Benefit Overview:

• Hourly position based on related experience level
• Hours Typically 7:00am- 4:00pm Monday-Friday
• On call as needed for snowstorm, plowing, etc.
• Health, Vision & Dental coverage eligible the first of the month after 60 days of service
