Position Summary::Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking part time Graphic Design instructors to teach in person Graphic Design courses as needed within an AAS: Advertising and Graphic Design degree program. Morning, afternoon and evening courses are possible.
This degree program is housed with the Department of Art & Design alongside a vibrant AFA degree program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
 - Thorough knowledge of current Mac OS and current Adobe Creative Suite software
 - Thorough knowledge and competency to instruct introductory and intermediate levels of graphic design classes.
 
- Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or related field
 - Experience with Coding, Web Development and Interactive Media highly preferred.

Utilize College technology for the delivery of instruction and completion of operational processes; this includes but is not limited to the College’s learning management system, email and calendaring solution, document management system(s), student information system, and employee portals.
Duty and Responsibility::6. Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records/requests, and other assigned tasks.
Duty and Responsibility::7. When applicable, ensure laboratories are appropriately stocked with required supplies and equipment is in safe operating order.
Duty and Responsibility::8. Facilitate a positive, student-centered, and professional environment among students, faculty and staff.
