Our law firm is seeking a matrimonial and family attorney who can assist clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues in matrimonial and family court actions. We guide and support clients through divorce and family court to get clients to better places.

Compensation:$110,000 - $175,000
Responsibilities:- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
- Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed
- Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
- Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current
- Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
- Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New York
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
- Attention to detail
- Willing to learn new technology
- Court experience in matrimonial cases
We're a matrimonial and family law firm in Forest Hills, New York (off the E and F line at Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike).
Our attorneys work with case managers. The case managers help maintain the attorney's calendar, draft "light" legal documents, coordinate with clients and the court, assist with motion assembly, file and download NYCEF documents, and generally assist our attorneys. We want our attorneys to do the legal work.
