Family Law Attorney
Our client, a law firm in the Plymouth Meeting area, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their team.
Responsibilities
  • Handle a full caseload of family law matters including:
    • Divorce and equitable distribution
    • Child custody and visitation
    • Child and spousal support
    • Protection from Abuse (PFA) petitions
    • Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
    • Adoption and guardianship proceedings
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials in Montgomery County and surrounding jurisdictions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
  • Maintain regular client communication and provide compassionate guidance through emotionally charged legal processes.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality client service.
Qualifications
  • Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar.
  • 4–7 years of experience in family law practice.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage emotionally charged cases with discretion and empathy.
  • Proficiency in legal practice management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
