Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this position are to answer telephones, greet visitors as they enter the office, and answer basic questions. Student may also be required to file documents, scan documents, make copies, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Meet, greet, and welcome visitors

  • Take incoming telephone calls and deal with such calls promptly and in a professional manner

  • Perform general administrative duties, including: receiving, sorting, scanning, and emailing documents; sorting and distributing mail; filling copiers/printers with paper; maintaining forms areas and bulletin boards; and assisting faculty and staff as assigned

  • Assist staff with social media for EGSC-Statesboro

Required Qualifications

The student must be registered for at least 6 credit hours and must be in good academic standing.

MUST BE WORK-STUDY ELIGIBLE and be in good Academic Standing (minimum GPA 2.0).

Basic computer skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to provide good customer service are required.

Proposed Salary

$13.00/Hour
