Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FEL-A or FEL-K Licensed Fire Safety Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring that all fire safety practices are followed in compliance with local and national regulations. The ideal candidate will lead safety inspections, conduct risk assessments, and oversee emergency response protocols to ensure the safety of our facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct fire safety inspections to ensure compliance with fire codes and building codes.
  • Develop and implement fire safety training programs for staff and team members.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend fire prevention strategies to minimize hazards.
  • Conduct safety inspections of fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems.
  • Prepare incident reports and maintain documentation related to fire safety compliance.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure staff are trained on procedures.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of fire safety equipment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the fire safety team, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • FEL-A or FEL-K license required.
  • Proven experience in fire safety, hazardous materials management, and compliance with fire codes.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Experience in conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ability to lead and train a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and incident reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems.
