Position Summary
We are looking for experienced and energetic door-to-door appointment schedulers with a strong background in direct customer engagement. The ideal candidate has experience in door to door sales like pest control, solar sales, alarm systems, or home improvement industries, and knows how to build rapport quickly, handle objections, and schedule qualified in-home design consultations.
This is a high-energy field sales support role ideal for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, talking to homeowners, and earning incentives based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Go door-to-door in assigned residential neighborhoods and communities in the Houston metro area
Engage homeowners professionally and communicate our value proposition clearly
Schedule qualified appointments for in-home design consultations with our design experts
Collect key contact details, homeowner preferences, and qualifying questions on-site
Accurately enter lead/appointment details into CRM or mobile app
Represent the brand with professionalism and product knowledge
Track daily performance and report progress to Sales Manager
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in door-to-door sales (e.g., pest control, solar panels, alarms, telecom, etc.)
Proven track record of setting appointments, meeting daily/weekly goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and persuasive personality
Comfortable working outdoors and walking several hours per day
Must have a smartphone and basic tech proficiency for CRM entry
Reliable transportation and familiarity with Houston neighborhoods
Compensation & Performance Incentives
Hourly Pay: $10/hour (base)
Per Appointment: $25 for each qualified and verified appointment (qualified = homeowner, within target budget, ready to schedule)
Promotion Path:
High-performing appointment schedulers may be promoted to In-Home Design Consultant
Earn up to $7,000 - $12,000 sales commissions a month ( up to 10% commission on closed deals) based on close rate and monthly sales performance
