Field Service Electrician at L & H Industrial Inc

Job description: Install and repair electrical & mechanical systems, assemblies, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. Follow and interpret NEC (NFPA 70), OSHA, MSHA or applicable local electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.

Formal Requirements and Certifications of Job –

Required

• 6 years’ experience in the electrical field
• Knowledge of shop mechanics and mechanical and electrical operations of equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot, identify and correct problems
• Good verbal and written communication
• Team player with focus on safety and quality
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications, PLC and related programing, etc.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task daily
• Self-directed and can work with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• MSHA (Mine, Safety, Health Administration) Electrical Certification or able to obtain
• Journeyman level electrician

Special Demands

• Lift or carry 75lbs
