AsOperations Field Service Engineer you will be part of the Grid EnhancingTechnologies Operations Team, focusing on engineering and execution activitiesfor all portfolio elements. The role involves performing commissioning servicesat site, configuring and testing solutions and producing electrical engineeringdeliverables such as drawings and schematics.
Responsibilitiesalso include managing technical documentation and ensuring high-quality outputsand customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
· Coordinate, review, andmanage projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
· Conduct FactoryAcceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning; respondto RFIs and update “As-Built” documentation.
· Prepare electrical andmechanical drawings, assembly details, and bills of materials using E-Plansoftware.
· Develop comprehensivedocumentation for installation, commissioning, and field wiring.
· Configure industrialcommunication protocols including IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, andOPC UA.
· Monitor project progressthrough meetings and field visits with customers, suppliers, and technicalteams.

WhatYou Bring
· Associate degree inElectrical, Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar required; bachelor’sin engineering or technology (e.g., Computer Science, Systems Analysis)preferred.
· 1–3 years of experiencein electrical engineering for industrial or utility projects, with automationsystems knowledge—preferably SIEMENS (TIA Portal, SIMATIC S7-1200, SICAMA8000).
· Proficient in industrialcommunication protocols (MODBUS, IEC 61850, OPC UA) and Windows systemconfiguration.
· Familiarity withtechnical drawings; E-Plan experience desirable.
· Strong preference forSpanish-speaking candidates; valid passport required for 50% travel, includinginternational assignments.
· Must be legallyauthorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa; internaltransfers may be available for current Siemens Energy visa holders
