Field Service Technician A leading provider of truck-mounted equipment solutions is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our mobile service team. This hands-on role involves traveling to customer sites to service, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment including articulating cranes, forklifts, bucket trucks, conveyors, platforms, trucks, and trailers. This is a field service position where you will be the face of the company, interacting with customers and building out your own schedule. There is regular travel, including overnights Monday- Friday only. Company Vehicle will be provided. Territory: CT, RI, MA, and Southern NH Key Responsibilities · Troubleshoot and perform repairs on truck-mounted equipment in the field. · Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, annual DOT inspections, and warranty service. · Respond to emergency service calls and resolve equipment issues during both scheduled and unscheduled hours. · Communicate clearly with job site and fleet managers regarding needed repairs or mechanical issues. · Document all service work including estimates, labor hours, parts usage, and inventory records. · Adhere to all safety protocols and comply with state and federal regulations. · Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work area. Qualifications · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics, preferably with articulating cranes and truck-mounted forklifts. · Welding experience is a plus. · Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 75+ lbs regularly. · Valid CDL (or willingness to obtain one within 60 days of hire) and clean driving record. · Must supply personal tools for daily use.
