Field Service Technician (Gauge & Calibration) at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring a Field Service Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift. Responsibilities: Perform equipment calibration and maintenance services at customer sites and in-house Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the service process Prepare calibration documentation in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on gauges and related equipment Maintain accurate service records using internal software tools Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% (including overnight stays) Prior field service experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Willingness to work in materials labs (asphalt, concrete, and soil environments) Valid driver’s license
