Currently, we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our office team!
Primary Job Function: As the Financial Controller at Riley Plumbing Heating & Air, you will oversee all financial aspects of our growing company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. You will manage accounting operations, maintain internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. This role is essential to our commitment to financial transparency and growth, providing you with an opportunity to make a significant impact within our locally owned, family-oriented company.
Position: Financial Controller
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00pm
Pay Range: Annual earnings of up to $145,000 yearly, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff.
- Oversee tax planning and coordinate audits.
- Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and present key findings
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of financial closing experience
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- 3+ years in a supervisory role with demonstrated leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to create and present training materials to groups
- CPA or MBA, preferred
