This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated restructuring matters, including high-profile Chapter 11 cases, complex workouts, and transactions involving leading market participants.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Financial Restructuring Associate, you will:
Represent creditors (including lenders, bondholders, and trade creditors), debtors, asset purchasers, and other stakeholders in large Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts.
Handle both transactional and litigation aspects of restructuring matters.
Draft and negotiate complex agreements, pleadings, and restructuring documents.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients navigating financial distress.
Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver integrated client solutions.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
4–6 years of financial restructuring/bankruptcy experience at a major law firm.
Experience with large Chapter 11 cases is strongly preferred.
Exposure to liability management or finance transactions is a plus.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work.
Salary range: $310,000 – $390,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
