We are a regional law firm with a national platform, seeking to expand our Financial Services and Commercial Litigation practice in Houston. Position Overview
We're looking for a Financial Services Litigation Associate with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our Houston office. In this role, you'll work closely with a high-performing team representing major financial institutions in both commercial and consumer litigation, as well as clients across various industries in complex business disputes.

This is a full-time, in-office position offering a clear path to partnership after six years of practice.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Advise clients on regulatory and risk management issues
  • Manage case files and ensure procedural compliance

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in financial services or commercial litigation
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
