Position Overview
We're looking for a Financial Services Litigation Associate with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our Houston office. In this role, you'll work closely with a high-performing team representing major financial institutions in both commercial and consumer litigation, as well as clients across various industries in complex business disputes.
This is a full-time, in-office position offering a clear path to partnership after six years of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and trials
- Advise clients on regulatory and risk management issues
- Manage case files and ensure procedural compliance
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in financial services or commercial litigation
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
