Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm, security, access control, and CCTV systems.
Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, fiber, etc.).
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and system specifications.
Ensure installations meet NFPA, NEC, and manufacturer standards.
Conduct testing, inspections, and system commissioning.
Complete all required documentation, reports, and close-out packages.
Work collaboratively with project managers, inspectors, and other trades.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in low-voltage installation, specifically fire alarm and security systems.
Working knowledge of fire alarm panels, security panels, CCTV, and access control systems.
Familiarity with NFPA codes, NEC standards, and local regulations.
Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Fire Alarm Technician License (FAL) in Texas preferred (or ability to obtain).
