Fire Sprinkler Pipefitters Needed Experience- 60-72 Hours/Week at Leapros Skilled Trades

Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Position Summary:

Leapros is seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler fitters with a strong background in fire sprinklers to support industrial startup, testing, and installation activities. Ideal candidates are skilled in interpreting construction documents and executing high-precision mechanical work on industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• A sprinkler fitter is responsible for installing, modifying and inspecting sprinkler systems. They can work for plumbing companies or be independent contractors. Regardless, their typical duties and responsibilities include:

  • • Installing sprinkler and hose systems
    • Repairing defective sprinkler systems
    • Assembling pipes, tubes and other types of fittings that carry water to and from sprinklers
    • Testing the sprinkler system to ensure it works
    • Educating clients on the importance of fire prevention and the importance of checking their sprinkler system is working

Requirements:

• 3+ years of fitting experience; commissioning/startup experience preferred

• Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, system schematics, and building plans

• Familiarity with system cleanliness standards and flushing procedures

• Must have OSHA 10 certification

• Must have own tools and PPE

• Ability to work in elevated or confined spaces

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

• Reliable transportation
