Job Title: Palo Alto/Firewall Engineer Location: Remote Pay Rate: Open to W2 Position Type: Multiyear Contract This role requires someone with at least 10 years of experience managing Palo Alto firewalls and active PCCSA, PCNSA or PCNSE certified. W2 candidates only. Description: The Network Administrator Engineer manages and maintains an organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability 1. Expertise in networking protocols and devices 2. Proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs 3. Experience with network monitoring tools Job Requirements • Experienced in managing Palo Alto firewalls • Knowledgeable in conversation of layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID • Understanding of creating custom appID’s • Has managed Palo Alto infrastructure (upgrades, patches, configurations) • Preferred – Experienced in managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment • Preferred – Deployed Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment • Preferred – Ability to leverage python scripts to automate tasks System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
