Location: NoMad, New York City

Oscar Wilde NYC, home to the longest bar in New York City, is seeking a vibrant, energetic, and hospitality-driven Floor Manager to join our leadership team.

- What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with:
- A strong background in both food and beverage operations
- Bar and floor management experience in a high-volume setting
- The ability to lead with hospitality, inspire teams, and maintain exceptional service standards
- Working knowledge of Toast, SevenRooms, Resy, and OpenTable
- Valid NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (Required)
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily FOH operations with professionalism and urgency
- Create and maintain weekly FOH schedules
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performance team
- Provide hands-on coaching and elevate guest engagement
- Ensure team knowledge of current menus, ingredients, and beverage pairings
- Oversee quality, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and labor laws
- Assist with P&L management, inventory, labor costs, and financial reporting
- Execute service with a passion for excellence and attention to detail
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for guests and staff
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a floor or service manager role
- NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (Required)
- Solid wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience managing and motivating FOH teams
- Familiarity with NYC labor laws, safety protocols, and sanitation best practices
- Background in event production and hosting is a plus
- Based in New York and authorized to work in the U.S.
