ABOUT US
The Peach is a Cal Asian inspired brunch restaurant and community gathering place located in Oakland. We are known for warm hospitality, playful flavors, and a lively weekend atmosphere. We recently launched Peach at Night, a dinner and nightlife experience focused on great food, great energy, and strong service. We are looking for a Floor Manager who can lead our busy brunch services and support Peach at Night on Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Floor Manager supports the front of house during brunch and evening service. You lead servers hosts runners and support staff. You set the tone for warm attentive hospitality. You help keep the team organized focused and positive. You communicate clearly with the kitchen and maintain the flow of service. You assist with FOH ordering and help build the weekly FOH schedule with the chef.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead the front of house team during brunch service
Support Peach at Night on Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings
Guide pacing table flow and communication with the kitchen
Run preshift meetings and set clear expectations for the team
Assist with guest recovery when needed
Maintain table settings cleanliness and overall standards
Assist with training new team members
Monitor FOH par levels and place weekly orders
Help organize FOH storage and support monthly inventory
Assist with the weekly FOH schedule alongside the chef
Maintain a positive professional and welcoming environment
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Two to four years of restaurant experience
One year of supervisory or leadership experience
Strong communication and floor leadership skills
Ability to remain calm and organized during high volume brunch service
Positive attitude and strong sense of hospitality
Weekend availability including Friday Saturday and Sunday
Availability for Peach at Night on Thursday Friday and Saturday
Must be 21 years or older
Valid California Food Handler certification
COMPENSATION
Starting at $27 per hour
Quarterly performance bonuses
Growth to thirty to thirty two dollars per hour based on performance
