Job Description
Staffmark is seeking a Floor Supervisor to oversee daily production floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on team development, quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Pay & Schedule
- $62,400-$66,560 per year
 - Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
 
What You'll Do
- Supervise and train employees within your designated area, monitoring performance and providing feedback to the General Manager
 - Ensure daily production tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures
 - Maintain a safe work environment, address safety concerns, and ensure compliance with regulations
 - Provide initial and ongoing training to help staff develop their skills
 - Log daily production runs using written documentation, inspect and count parts, and sign off on quality checks
 - Open and close the plant in the absence of the Maintenance Technician, assisting as needed
 - Operate forklifts and demonstrate a basic understanding of mechanical components, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic machinery
 
Qualifications
- Prior direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
 - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
 - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
 - Hands-on understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to operate related equipment
