Job Summary

As a Food Runner at Calypso, you will be the vital link between our kitchen and guests, ensuring food leaves the line looking perfect and arrives at the table quickly and accurately. Youll support servers and bartenders, keep our dining areas stocked and clean, and play an essential role in creating a welcoming, coastal dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests with speed, accuracy, and professionalism
  
  
• Double-check orders for completeness, presentation, and quality before serving
  
  
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about timing, modifications, and guest needs
  
  
• Assist servers by stocking and resetting tables with utensils, condiments, and napkins
  
  
• Refill water and non-alcoholic beverages as needed
  
  
• Clear tables and return dirty dishes/glassware to dish station promptly
  
  
• Keep service stations, expo areas, and dining areas clean and organized
  
  
• Support team during rushes with bussing, restocking, or light kitchen help as directed
  
  
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in all tasks
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required well train the right person
  
  
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
  
  
• Ability to stay calm and upbeat in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  
  
• Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
  
  
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
  
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays/plates up to 2535 lbs
  
  
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
