Travel Food Services Manager (Temporary)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Food Services Manager to oversee daily dietary operations within a hospital environment. This 13-week contract offers competitive weekly pay and the opportunity to lead a dedicated food service team in a high-quality healthcare setting.
Position: Food Services Manager
Location: North Adams, MA (North Adams Regional Hospital)
Employment Type: Temporary | 13 Weeks
Start Date: 12/1/2025
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Days | 40 hours/week)
Compensation: $1,440 weekly (Taxable W2: $680, Stipend: $760)
Overtime: $33/hour after 40 hours
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 4 years of management or leadership experience in hospital, institutional, or restaurant food service
- 2–4 years of cooking experience, with strong knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and purchasing
- Experience using food service EMR or nutrition software (must be noted on profile)
- ServSafe Certification and CDM/CFPP preferred
- Must have own vehicle and reside 50+ miles from the facility
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the hospital food service department
- Supervise staff, schedule shifts, and oversee meal production for patients and visitors
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and accreditation standards
- Manage menu development, recipe standardization, and cost control
- Collaborate with the Multi-site Director of Food Services to meet departmental goals
