DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Food Service Worker 1, you will play a crucial role in the tray line process by assembling and updating meal tags, as well as stocking necessary supplies and utensils. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing specialized items like nourishments, supplements, and bag lunches. This role also involves supporting the cooks with assigned tasks and assisting with the setup and service of food for special events. This rotational structure provides comprehensive exposure to the entire dietary operation. Furthermore, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe and pleasant work environment for both consumers and staff.

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, rotating schedule, with a 30-minute lunch. You will be required to work holidays as assigned. Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
