Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated Freight Clerk to join their team. As a Freight Clerk, you will be an essential part of the transportation and warehousing support team, ensuring smooth processing and validation of freight-related transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Freight Clerk
Location: AUSTIN, MN
Pay Range: $19.00/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (standard work week – 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm)
What's the Job?
- Process, audit, validate, and voucher for payment of all bills and expenses related to transportation, warehousing, drayage, and cartage of products.
 - Input and maintain accurate database entries in applications such as Order Processing Load Status, Manugistics, and Oracle.
 - Assist with handling documents and information regarding freight and warehouse bills.
 - Support miscellaneous activities related to freight management and documentation.
 - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all transactions.
 
What's Needed?
- High school education or the equivalent.
 - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
 - Experience with personal computers and word processing software.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
 - Ability to accurately enter data at a high rate of speed.
