Front Desk Patient Coordinator needed for an OB/GYN specialty medical office for full-time employment.


Duties include, but not limited to, welcoming and checking patients in or out and collecting co-pays when necessary, answering and transferring calls, scheduling appointments, scanning and printing medical records, back-up for check-out, etc. The candidate must be a team player - reliable, dependable, able to multi-task, possess excellent telephone and computer skills, and provide exceptional customer service.


Summary:

As a Front Desk Patient Coordinator, you will be integral to ensure smooth and efficient patient experience in a medical office setting. Reporting directly to the office manager, your role will focus on customer service, utilizing your medical office experience to assist patients to have a positive experience. Strong computer skills will be essential for managing patient records and processing payments accurately. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide compassionate support will enhance patient satisfaction and contribute to the success of our healthcare team. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Commensurate with Experience

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person

Savannah, GA 31405: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Schedule: (Monday through Friday)

  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years' medical experience, preferably in an office practice setting.

Other:

HIPAA: This position should have full access to information in a patient's medical record, to provide quality patient care. Patient information is to be held strictly confidential. Patient information will not be used or disclosed for any purpose other than the performance of job responsibilities and duties.
