A Hardee's Front Line Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while also taking orders, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. They also handle cash and credit card transactions, suggest menu items, and assist in stocking the beverage bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Order Taking: Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Cash Handling: Process payments (cash, credit, debit) and manage the cash drawer.
- Dining Area Maintenance: Clean tables, bus tables, and maintain a tidy dining environment.
- Product Knowledge: Answer customer questions about the menu and suggest items.
- Stocking: Stock beverage bar and other areas as needed.
- Cleaning: Perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Follow Procedures: Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers.
- Math Skills: Ability to calculate change and perform basic math.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Organization and Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Preferred but not always required.
