Front of House Lead at Supermoon Bakehouse

We’re Supermoon Bakehouse, a design-driven pastry studio in the Lower East Side known for inventive pastries, gelato, and creative beverages. With big moves ahead, we’re looking for a Front of House Lead to help guide daily operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

• Lead FOH service, maintaining strong communication and teamwork throughout each shift.

• Take and fulfill orders using Square POS with speed and accuracy.

• Prepare espresso drinks, teas, and signature beverages to spec.

• Communicate daily with the Head Chef to align FOH and BOH operations.

• Prepare beverage syrups, foams, and other ingredients for service.

• Manage product inventory and ensure correct par levels and rotation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all FOH areas.

• Uphold health and safety standards at all times.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team.

• 2+ years of FOH or barista experience in a high-volume bakery, café, or restaurant.

• Leadership ability and clear communication skills.

• Strong espresso and beverage preparation knowledge.

• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented work style.

• Availability for evenings and weekends.

• NYC Food Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

• Passion for pastry, coffee, and design.

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

• You care about doing things well — and keeping it fun while you do it.
