We’re looking for a Front Office Coordinator to create a welcoming environment for our patients while keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
- High school diploma (required)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional phone presence and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and EMR/EHR systems
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage patient flow
- Experience with insurance verification and payment collections preferred
- Belief in the importance of a positive patient experience
As our Front Office Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our patients have a smooth, supportive experience from the moment they walk in the door. Responsibilities include:
- Handle patient inquiries and perform intake procedures
- Greet and assist all incoming patients
- Enter and verify all patient demographics and billing information at check-in
- Ensure patient paperwork is completed, scanned, and properly indexed into the system
- Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
- Verify medical insurance coverage and perform insurance data entry
- Collect patient financial responsibility: co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, balances, and self-pay fees
- Process encounters and balance co-payment collections daily
- Record payments and obtain signed statements/consents
- Direct patients to appropriate areas of the facility
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area
