                                Federal Work-Study Job Description Summer 2025Job Title: Student Success Student WorkerNumber of positions: 3Department: Student Success Job Location: Student CenterSupervisor/Timekeeper: Larmont LawsonSupervisor Contact: 502-597-6886Hours per week: 10-20 Duties and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing support to the Office of Student Success and its staff, students, and visitors.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide front desk coverage, greeting students and visitors with professionalism and friendliness, Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate staff, Assist students with check-ins, sign-ins, and general questions, Support academic success initiatives as assigned (data entry, scheduling, organizing materials), Keep front desk and common areas neat, clean, and organized, Distribute printed resources and flyers related to academic support, Monitor and restock office supplies as necessary, Run campus errands, deliver documents, or assist during department events, Maintain confidentiality and follow FERPA guidelinesQualification and requirements: Strong customer service skills and a positive, welcoming attitude, Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented, Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, Must dress in casual, professional attire in accordance with the department dress code, Must be able to handle physical tasks including lifting 25+ lbs
