Job Description
Position: Experienced Lead Accountant – remote
This role offers significant growth potential and a flexible schedule. Compensation is based on experience. We’re looking for someone with strong soft skills, technical expertise, and a passion for both accounting and client service.
Responsibilities
- Provide client-specific bookkeeping and accounting services using QuickBooks Online (QBO), including:
- Monthly account reconciliation
- Accounts receivable and payable processing
- Payroll functions
- Generating reports (monthly, year-end, and ad hoc)
- Supporting special projects
- Ensure timely resolution and communication of client requests
- Manage and assist current bookkeeping staff
- Operate in a self-directed or leadership capacity

Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with A/R, A/P, and payroll
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Minimum Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Comfortable with technology and learning new software
- Ability to work virtually/remotely
- No tax season work required
