Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to promote student achievement
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
- Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
