Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of proven management experience in the restaurant industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and a positive guest experience.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain a high-performance culture.
- Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staff performance to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues in a professional, timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions, events, and community engagement initiatives.
- Analyze financial reports, track KPIs, and prepare management updates.
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee inventory management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager or senior management role in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
- Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service, and guest relations.
- Proficiency with Toast POS systems, Sling scheduling software, and Google Office Suite preferred.
- ServSafe or equivalent certification required.
