Café General Manager 

We are a fast casual inspired  hospitality brand committed to providing environments where our guests or "locals" feel special through genuine connections, & Great food brand & coffee bakery feel.   Locals come for their daily escape & to feel more connected in their communities.

Position Overview

Seeking a business-savvy & hospitality-driven General Manager to oversee our  café in Philadelphia, NYC ,  DC,  markets  ! This hands-on role requires a passionate leader who thrives in the front of house and can connect with guests like a Maître D' in a European morning café. Our General Manager will embrace the early morning and lunch café business with a work schedule that typically ends by 5pm. This position supports a great work/life balance within an amazing growing brand.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the café's daily operations
  • Set the tone in your location & bring energy in everything you do while inspiring your team
  • Build genuine connections with guests and help establish regulars in the café
  • Work side by side in position with your teammates
  • Enforce quality assurance and steps of service
  • Manage overall profitability through P&L oversight; achieving sales, cost of goods, and labor targets
  • Encourage development amongst your team through conversations and reviews
  • Lead by example in Health & Safety and ServSafe compliance
  • Play an active role in the Philadelphia community through neighborhood engagement
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years experience as a General Manager in a full-service restaurant
  • A passion for hospitality & providing great service
  • Proven achievement of key performance indicators in prior management positions
  • Strong financial acumen skills (P&L management, budgeting, and sales forecasting)
  • Ability to coach, mentor, & develop hourly team members
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve great performance
  • Ability to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs
  • DOH Accreditation and/or ServSafe Certified
