Job Title: General Superintendent
Job Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $120K-170K
Requirements: 7+ years of wet utility construction. CIPP Lining, sanitary/storm sewer, water and wastewater experience.
Position Overview:
The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring that operations are run efficiently and safely. This role involves managing the workforce, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle, particularly in the areas of utilities, water and wastewater management, and stormwater systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Manage and supervise on-site staff and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all operations.
- Coordinate with project managers and operation teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all construction activities and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management or superintendent roles.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction, utilities, water and wastewater systems, and stormwater management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) technology is a plus.
