Talked with the Vice President earlier today, and he's offering a very competitive compensation plan for a general superintendent with asphalt paving and road construction exp:
- $160-$210K salary DOE
- 401k w/ 4% match
- Profit sharing
This company has a track record of keeping their employees (1 in 6 has been their 25 years+). You'd oversee the supers and foreman of 5-6 paving crews, 3 milling crews, and 8-9 MOT crews. Also, you'd have several QC groups that would report up to you.
This company generally self performs sitework, utilities, striping, and (of course) asphalt paving and road construction. They are NOT looking for a superintendent or a foreman.
They're looking for someone who is either currently working in a Director of Field Operations or General Superintendent role and is looking to make a move.
Alternatively, they are looking for someone who has SIGNIFICANT experience working as a senior superintendent in asphalt paving/road construction and is looking to make the move up to General Superintendent.

- Demonstrated success leading high performance teams
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and building codes
