Generator Test Technician at New Tech Global Staffing

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Test Technician for a client located in [Insert City, TX] to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $20 to $23/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week

The Test Technician will be responsible for executing testing procedures and preparations for generator group products. This role ensures all testing is completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized work area, performing daily and weekly maintenance on testing benches, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions, executing generator testing programs, monitoring and requesting test consumables, reporting equipment failures, preparing detailed test reports, ensuring product traceability, and properly using and maintaining equipment and materials. The technician will also complete tasks assigned by supervisors, participate in training seminars, share feedback with section chiefs, and comply with all Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) rules. Participation in OHS training and risk reduction initiatives is expected.

Qualifications: High School Diploma required (technical education preferred), with 1 to 12 years of relevant experience. Candidates should have technical electrical knowledge, experience in coupling and assembly, strong relationship management and self-development skills, good English communication, and familiarity with office software and basic programming. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, collaborative, service-focused, and possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
