Position: Golang Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ Employment Type: Contract - W2 Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Developer to join our dynamic development team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver robust software solutions aligned with business goals. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Golang. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end, DevOps, and QA to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Implement and maintain microservices architectures for performance and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality. Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of hands-on experience in Golang development. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and API development. Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Nice to Have: Good to have ML and AI experience. Experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Knowledge of security best practices in backend development. Exposure to gRPC, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures.
