Our menu features a delightful array of authentic, but innovative Italian dishes, crafted with the freshest ingredients and traditional recipes passed down through generations. From our pizzas and homemade pastas to our succulent seafood and tender hand selected premium meats, each dish is a celebration of Italy’s rich culinary heritage.

Position Overview:


We’re looking for someone with experience in this role, with an understanding of general knife skills, cooking over charcoal and classical cooking techniques. An ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, expertise in preparing high-quality meats, and the ability to maintain consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced, upscale kitchen environment. The candidate could be a Chef Tournant alternating between Grill and Garde Manger Stations.

We prefer someone with FULL TIME availability 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Specialize in grilling and preparing various cuts of premium meats
  • Execute all food items and mise-en-place with precision and consistency.
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
  • Adhere to portion control and plating standards
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a grill cook in a fine dining establishment
  • Must have experience cooking proteins to temp 
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • Strong knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking techniques
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $20-$25 an hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
