Groundskeeper, Daytona Poker Room at Delaware North

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Groundskeeper to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the appearance and cleanliness of the grounds adhere to company standards.

• Mow lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
• Landscape by planting and watering flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
• Sweep walkway of debris and install lawn furniture
• Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed
• Trim shrubs and pull weeds
• Operating a motorized vehicle

• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance or repair for commercial facilities

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.

• Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint
• Ability to use ladders and perform various types of manual labor
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally
• Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons

Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club in Daytona Beach, Florida, is owned and operated by Delaware North. It features a 50-table poker room, simulcast wagering with more than 250 televisions for simulcasts and other sports and entertainment, as well as a full-service restaurant.
