Happy Paws Pet Resort in Orlando, FL is actively seeing to hire a full-time friendly Guest Services Receptionist to provide outstanding customer service for pet's and pet parents in a fast-paced environment. This full-time receptionist potion earns a competitive pay of $14-$17/hr, based on experience. Happy Paws Pet Resort is a premier doggy daycare and overnight resort located in Orlando, FL just 2 miles south of UCF. We provide daycare, grooming, training, and boarding (dogs and cats). Happy Paws strives to create a fun, stress-free environment for all pets in our care, and to give pet parents peace of mind while they're away.
GUEST SERVICES RECEPTIONIST DUTIES
- Greet clients and their pets, complete the check-in process which can include: inputting and retrieving information for the computer, confirming the reason for the appointment and confirming the client's contact information.
- Assist clients with check-out including, but not limited to: ensuring services and product sales and correctly accounted, using the practice management software system, handling money, processing credit cards and setting future appointments or follow-up visits.
- Walk dogs to and from the lobby in a controlled, professional way.
- Answer phone calls from clients requesting appointments/reservations, asking questions about offered services, checking in on boarding pet's, etc.
- Make outbound phone calls to confirm upcoming appointments, obtain vet records, etc.
- Ensure two and four legged customers have memorable, pleasant experiences when entering and leaving our resort.
- Update clients on their pet's behavior, in a professional manner.
- Follow policies on proper cleaning/sanitizing.
- Perform temperament evaluations for new guests.
GUEST SERVICES RECEPTIONSIT REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 2+ years customer service experience
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to life 50 lbs
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Must live within 25 miles of the facility
- Bilingual (preferred)
