Job Description

Head Chef – New Restaurant Opening

We’re seeking a Head Chef to lead the culinary program for an exciting new restaurant opening. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the kitchen, values collaboration, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences through thoughtful, seasonal cuisine.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a creative, seasonal menu that reflects the restaurant’s concept

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, from prep to service, ensuring consistency and quality

  • Recruit, train, and inspire a talented culinary team

  • Manage ordering, inventory, and cost controls

  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and food safety

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (Sous Chef or Head Chef)

  • Strong foundation in seasonal cooking and kitchen management

  • Excellent communication and team-building skills

  • Proven ability to manage costs and drive efficiency without compromising quality
