- Lead and scale the Operations Engineering organization (SRE / DevOps) to achieve availability, performance, and operational excellence for production systems.
- Define and enforce reliability SLAs/SLOs, incident-management playbooks, runbooks, and post-incident improvement cycles.
- Own cloud infrastructure strategy and execution: architect for scalability, cost-efficiency, security, and disaster recovery across multi-region deployments.
- Drive automation across CI/CD, provisioning (IaC), observability, and capacity management to reduce manual toil and speed delivery.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and QA to embed reliability and compliance into the software delivery lifecycle.
- Hire, mentor, and coach engineers — build career paths, set performance expectations, and establish operational KPIs.
- Experience establishing SRE/DevOps organizational processes and leader-level influence across cross-functional teams.
- Track record of improving incident MTTR and establishing measurable reliability improvements over time.
- Experience with cost-optimization programs and capacity planning in multi-region cloud environments.
- 10+ years in operations/engineering roles with 5+ years leading SRE/DevOps teams in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and containerized workloads.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent) and CI/CD tooling and pipelines.
- Strong observability and monitoring background (Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, ELK) and formal incident response experience.
- Skilled in automation and scripting (Python, Bash) and in establishing Git-centered workflows, testing, and deployment controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication, and experience driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience running global, multi-region services at scale; knowledge of networking, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Background in cost-optimization and capacity planning for cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with SRE practices (error budgets, blameless postmortems) and security automation tooling.
